"A Commitment to Excellence"
To become Nationally Certified: Licensed Massage & Bodywork Practitioners must demonstrate mastery of core Skills and Knowledge, schooling usually of 9 months length on average, pass the schools final exam, the states exams
and a BCTMB specialized exam as well.
They must uphold the organization's Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics, have a minimum of designated clinical hours each year and take part in the mandatory Continued Education of each states laws.
Today, there are many thousands of Nationally Certified practitioners throughout the country, that are
working in Physician or Health-Care Providers Offices, Private Practices, Rehab facilities, Senior and Elderly Facilities, Health Clubs and Hospitals utilizing Medical and Holistic Massage & Bodywork.
